Summer 2008: National Drinking Liter-ship Institute (NDLI)
Late this summer, O.K.U. will be hosting its first-ever national institute. The theme this year is “Strong Drinks, Strong Livers”. We hope to draw a crowd of national proportions. To attend, you must form a team of at least 3 people, and submit your registration form via our Contact page.
Who Should Attend?
Team participants can include, but are not limited to, the following roles:
- Ice Crusher
- Citrus Squeezer (i.e. limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruits, pomegrantes)
- Principal Cocktailologist
- Quality Control Sippers
- Mug Selector
- Dishwasher
- Syrup Specialist
- Teaching Artist
- Bottle Capper
- Rum Shopper
It is our assumption that, because this is an event with national interest, some of your team participants may fall into several of the above roles.
What Are Requirements for Participation?
Upon approval of your admission package, faculty from Okonkuluku University will decide what the Institute’s curricula will be. We will try our best to individualize the Institute to fit your interests and needs. However, you should know that this summer’s Institute is the first of four potential institutes. We envision the NATIONAL DRINKING LITER-SHIP INSTITUTE (NDLI) as a four-stage three-year program. More information available soon.
